James Ferrier was a British landscape painter, a
Scottish painter who lived in in Edinburgh. His son,
John Straton Ferrier (b. Edinburgh; fl. 1870s-80s;
d. Edinburgh 1912) was a marine etcher.
Exhibited: Ferrier exhibited 'In Glen Carrick' at the Royal Academy in 1873.
