1857-1924
William Bradley Lamond was a Scottish artist with
a very collectable powerful impressionist style.
He was born at Newtyre near Dundee in 1857 and became
a member of the R.B.A. in 1906. His reputation was
built initially on portraits but he later turned
to seascapes and coastal scenes. He worked mainly
in oils and his watercolours seldom come up for
sale.
Exhibited: R.S.A. R.B.A. RA. and the Glasgow Institute of Fine Art.
