Robert Buchan Nisbet
1857-1942
Robert Buchan Nisbet was a landscape painter. He
studied at the Board of Manufacturers School, Edinburgh
RSA, life class, 1882-85. He also studied under
Bouguereau in Paris.
Robert Buchan Nisbet was the brother of Pollok Sinclair Nisbet and did some training under him in Europe. He was married to Margaret Dempster who was also an artist. They lived at Dunmore, Comrie, near Crieff.
